    Shrub, ca. 3 m tall. Young stems green; petioles green to red-purple. The leaves green adaxially, red-purple abaxially. Inflorescence rachis and branches red-purple. Hypanthium green; petals 5, light pink; anther filaments and connective light pink, thecae light purple. Immature fruit green, globose. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
