Curtis is the BASIONYM, in Genera = type lost, at CBS website Dec 2009, no current name, and goes on to say: For the time being the species has to be left without a proper identification, Ryvarden after observing the type, 21 Jun 2001 says to leave the species as Polyporus, so filing as Polyporus holotephrus Berk. & M. A. Curtis.
