Low forest on W to SW facing lower slopes of hill; specimens collected in more open campo-cerrado. Growing in crevices in silcrete outcrops.

Description
Herb, 30cm. Leaves crenulate, sticky. Stems reddish-tinged towards base. Disc-shaped swollen stem base for attachment to rock. Flowers 2 cm, orange-salmon pink, paler inside, reddish tinge to calyx tips. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
