    Shrub on hilltop arising from subterranean rootstock, often 3-4 stems to 1 m., softly haory, leaves also. Yellow-green bracts enclosing berries going green to orange. Beries solitary, hairy, stalked, in axil of bract. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
