Habitat
Hillsides with second growth forest, bracken-covered campo, sloping down to river with blocky sandstone and sandy soil.

Description
Tree 4-13 m tall, with large spreading canopy; calyx glands white or pink, red in age; outer petals white, pink or red in age; 5th petal white with a yellow claw; red in age. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
