Brazil. Tocantins. Paraíso do Tocantins Mun. North side of city of Paraíso do Norte de Goiás. (200 m N of brook limiting present north edge of city, and 1/2 km west of Belém-Brasília highway).

Habitat
Natural "cerrado" woodland of low tree 7 (-9) m tall with 30 % canopy cover. Grassy ground layer; shrubs very few, those 1/2 - 1 m tall spaced 1-3 m apart. Those 1-3 m tall very rare.
