Using Google Maps - Terrain and Map Views - located the Parque Nacional do Caparaó, located the part of the Parque that belongs to the Minas Gerais State. Using Terrain View (Google Maps) located all the points in the Minas Gerais part of the feature with 2000m height, using Distance Measurement Tool (Google Maps) measured a straight line between the extremes points with this altitude (-20.488379, -41.830788 and -20.419540, -41.828213). The point at 2000m closest to the midpoint of this line was selected as the geographic center of the feature (-20.454471, -41.829426).
