Brazil. Tocantins. Gurupi Mun. South edge of city of Gurupi. 150-200 meters south of the brook that lines south edge of the city. Several tens of meters east of the Belém-Brasília highway (BR-14).

Habitat
Semi-dense "cerrado" vegetation: trees 3-15 m tall, plus shrubs 1/2-3 m. tall, total cover of woody plants almost 100 %. Ground vegetation not yet burned this season.

Woody vine climbing to 2 meters up on a small tree. Phenology of specimen: Flower, Fruit.
