    Terra firme forest on sandy soil, dry with open canopy. Reported to be virgin forest, however there are indications of selective cutting.

    Tree 16 m. tall, 1.1 m. cirum.; white latex; mature fr. black, edible. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
