Area originally evergreen mesophytic forest. Brick-red latosol from underlying basalt. River bank with a few remnant trees.

Description
Woody vine with many branches, forming a bushy mass several meters long and high. Corolla, filaments, anthers, style and stigma white. Anthers later turn beige. Stigma later turns beige, then brown. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
