Habitat
Open pinyon-juniper woodland on barren shale pavement (Parachute member of the Green River Formation), along E-W trending ridge. Moderate to steep slopes. Scattered Amelancher utahensis; Cercocarpus montanus common in draws. Common, especially in draws.
