Description
Acaulescent palm, solitary; leaves 4-6, petiole ca 40 cm., rachis 1.65 m., pinnae 98 per side, in various planes and in groups of 2-5, proximal pinnae 48 cm. x 0.6 cm., middle pinnae 45 x 2.5 cm., apical pinnae 9 x 0.5 cm. Inflorescence either predominantly staminate or pistillate, fruits on one side of rachis only. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
