Terra firme forest on hilly terrain. Canopy open in some places due to blowdowns.

Description
terrestrial herb. Succulent terrestrial herb to 35 cm, leaves with grayish-white patches above, flowers and fruits pendent, calyx pale green, corolla white, androecium and gynoecium yellow. Phenology of specimen: Flower, Fruit.

Two populations of ca. 20 individuals seen, only one fertile, on steep slope above stream bed.
