  • Description

    Tree. Understory tree 8 m x 12 cm, trunk angular, outer bark light brown, shed in small, thin, irregular plates, somewhat fibrous, thin, inner bark beige. Inflorescences arching, bracts and calyx green, corolla tube pale violet, lobes violet except lower lobe (flowers borne horizontal) white at base with deep purple stripes. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
