    On northeast-facing slope. With Artemisia, Pinus, Juniperus & Atriplex. In rocky (sandstone) soil.

  • Description

    Perennials to 55 cm tall, from elevated, ± woody caudices; herbage (including pedicels) with abundant dendritic hairs; leaves linear, the cauline non-auriculate; petals whitish, often aging pale lavender, to 18 mm long; pollen narrowly ellipsoid; fruiting pedicels gently recurved, to 11 mm long; mature fruits pendulous, dendritic pubescent throughout. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
