    Erect herb on upper slope, sparse leaves, basal leaves 15x10 mm, stiff; tomentose under surface, slightly serrate towards top half of leaf. Stems & leaves grey green. Capitulum-like terminal heads, white, hairy, lower tip sometimes magenta. Phenology of specimen: Flower, Fruit.
