  • Description

    Herbaceous perennials from branched caudices; stems densely appressed pubescent proximally, sparsely so distally; leaves pannose, the uppermost with small auricles; petals white; pollen ± irregular, the functional grains narrowly ellipsoid and formed in tetrads; fruiting pedicels ascending; mature fruits ± straight, to 40 mm long & 1 mm wide; seeds uniseriate. Phenology of specimen: Fertile, Flower, Fruit.
