    Perennials from slender, tan-brown rhizomes with scattered tuberous thickenings; herbage nearly glabrous proximally, glandular-hirsute in the inflorescence; leaves estipulate; petals white, to 10 mm long, with apical notch to 2 mm deep; stamens 10, the anthers rose-brown; styles 3. Phenology of specimen: Fertile, Flower.
