  • Habitat

    Mostly open vegetation on mild slopes, burned over in parts, with many suffrutices and low herbs, and occasional patches of low-branching, gnarled trees to 8m tall. Occasional locally.

    Herb with minty-smelling roots, "banner" petal yellow at base, white except yellow distally; lateral petals white with violet veins within, outside yellow with violet veins. Phenology of specimen: Flower, Fruit.
