Common bamboo in coastal forest of sandy soil. In
many places associated with two other bamboos (C.E.C.
& R.S.P. 22o5 and 2266). Plants about 10-15 m high,
climbing over vegetation. Culms solid, 1.25 cm or less
in diameter, surface rough. Culm sheaths more .or.less
persistant with long triangular, erect, deciduous blade.
Culm leaf surface a little rough. Many branches per
node; one main, thicker branch and several thin ones.
