UT 125 in Oak City, ca. 5.5 miles ESE of Oak City.

  • Habitat

    On rocky talus slopes in fir forest. Locally abundant. Brown sandy loam soil, pH ca. 7.8.

  • Description

    Corollas mostly pale red-violet, some pink or pale blue-violet, darker violet at tube base; staminode white; anthers dark red-violet, turning black with age, abaxial pair ± exserted at mouth; nectar with a sweet fragrance. Phenology of specimen: Flower, Fruit.
