    From cracks in marble-like limestone near the head of dry wash. Small population. Loamy sand soil, pH ca. 7.8.

  • Description

    Corollas pale blue- to red-violet, tube darker so, throat with 2 weak, white ridges abaxially joining ridge at base of abaxial lip to form a U around the staminode tip; staminode white with a few white hairs along margins; anthers red-violet, black with age, abaxial pair ± exserted at the mouth; nectar sweetly fragrant. Phenology of specimen: Fertile, Flower, Fruit.
