United States of America. Utah. Juab Co. Deep Creek Range, northeast of Haystack Peak, Tom's Creek Canyon; in pine-fir forest along south side of Tom's Creek ca. 6 miles WNW of the old CCC camp on Trout Creek - Callao Road, ca. 8 air miles WSW of Callao.

Habitat
On granitic cliffs and talus slopes in pine-fir forest. Locally abundant. Sandy loam soil, pH ca. 6.0.

Description
Corollas pale blue-violet or pale red-violet to pink, darker colored at base of tube; staminode white; anthers dark violet to black, abaxial pair exserted at mouth; nectar with a sweet fragrance. Phenology of specimen: Fertile, Flower, Fruit.
