  • Habitat

    On granitic cliffs and talus slopes in pine-fir forest. Locally abundant. Sandy loam soil, pH ca. 6.0.

  • Description

    Corollas pale blue-violet or pale red-violet to pink, darker colored at base of tube; staminode white; anthers dark violet to black, abaxial pair exserted at mouth; nectar with a sweet fragrance. Phenology of specimen: Fertile, Flower, Fruit.
