Habitat
On northeast-facing granite cliffs in pine-fir forest south of creek. Locally abundant. Gray-brown sandy loam soil, pH ca 6.0.

Description
Corollas pale blue-violet or pale red-violet to pink, darker colored at base of tube; staminode white; anthers dark violet-black to black, the abaxial pair exserted at mouth; nectar with a sweet fragrance. Phenology of specimen: Fertile, Flower.
