Fleshy herb with prostrate to scrambling
stems up to 50 cm. Stems and leaf under-
surfaces tinged dull purple, leaves above
dull green. Calyces pale purple. Corolla
pale purple. Fruit elongate, bright royal
blue, glossy with dull purple calyx lobes.
