Habitat
Grown in garden. Kept in a Madison, Wisconsin, greenhouse for the winter and set out June 4, 1979.

Description
Much branched shrublet 0.6 m. tall with dull orange spines. Corolla light blue-purple; anthers yellow. Fruit without any apparent septum, max. 1.1 cm. diam., light green/dark green striped, perhaps eventually turning orange. Phenology of specimen: Flower, Fruit.
