Habitat
Desert Transition Chaparral. With Quercus john-tuckeri, Ceanothus greggii vestitus, Artemisia tridentata, Eriogonum fasciculatum, and scattered Yucca brevifolia, Pinus monophylla, Juniperus californica. Locally uncommon.

Description
Herbaceous perennial; stems ± spreading to procumbent; herbage grayish due to thick pubescence; trichomes apparently simple. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
