United States of America. California. San Bernardino Co. Angelo National Forest, along Glendora Mountain Road, 27.4 km N of the intersection with Boulder Springs Dive (just S of the entrance to the National Forest).

Habitat
Chaparral on steep hillsides, recently burned; plants collected from ridge and W-facing slopes. Associated with: Leptodactylon californicum, Scrophularia californica, Allophyllum divaricatum, Penstemon bicolor, Eriophyllum, Eriodictyon trichocalyx, Phacelia brachyloba, Eriogonum fasciculatum. Rare in full sun or part shade.

Description
Shrubby up to 1.0 m tall, glandular, berries green (unripe?), stems glandular, corollas deep purple. Phenology of specimen: Flower, Fruit.
