Habitat
Bosque mesofilo de montaña. Forested gentle slopes and sinkholes of Cerro Grande, a massive limestone (Cenomanian, Upper Cretaceous) plateau with typical karst topography. With Quercus laurina, Meliosma dentata, Oreopanax xalapense, Styrax argenteus and an understory of Euphorbia schlechtendalii.
