Mexico. Veracruz. Tlacotalpan Mun. Along the highway following the Río Papaloapan towards the coast, 2 km. NE of Tlacotalpan. Adjacent to Río Papaloapan.

Habitat
Roadside ditch and pasture. In pasture and seedling seen on dried mud. With Salix exigua (!), Daphnopsis americana, Dalbergia brownei, Pithecellobium lanceolatum, Euphorbia torrida, Solanum campechiense, S. houstonii. Occasional.

Description
Low shrublet, 25 cm. tall. Corolla pale violet; anthers yellow; fruit light green with darker green veins. Phenology of specimen: Flower, Fertile, Fruit.
