Springfed grazed meadow of fine silty pumice soil, granitic
outcrops on hills E. Numerous frost heaves. Uplands of
Artemesia tridentata, Chrysothamnus, Pinus monophylla.
Common, scattered around higher edges of meadow and roadside.
