Broad wet meadow, densely beset with Eleocharis pauciflora, running S to N, fed from perennial seeps on S edges. Closely surrounded by Pinus contorta and Populus tremuloides woodland. Uplands of Artemisia tridentata/ Purshia tridentata scrub. Common on drier edges of meadow.
