Red sand dunes ± 100 m south of road. With Artemisia filifolius, Atriplex confertifolius and Tripterocalyx micrantha, over clayey flats with Sarcobatus.

Limb of perianth white; plants with extensive, shallow, lateral roots (top 10 cm of soil) giving rise to new plants. Phenology of specimen: Fertile, Fruit.
