  • Description

    Woody epiphyte. Petals stiff, fleshy, deep purple. Calyx irregularly 5-dentate, duller purple. Stamens 5, one longer than the others and covering stigma. Fruits green, 2 locules, axile placentation, many seeds. Phenology of specimen: Sterile.
