    Elfin Cloud Forest. Ridge-top could forest; Low canopy (4-6 m); heavy rainfall (400+ in/yr); vegetation dominated by small trees (Pandanus patina, Glochidion, Garcinia) covered in epiphytic ferns and mosses; very shallow soil.

    Small tree to 5 m; FLowers small, <1 cm, with white light brown-purplish petals, Prominent ribs at nodes, opposite leaves.
