Solanum leucocarpon Dunal det N. E. Brown
Note: "Solanum leucocarpon, C. Rich", "Gleason 695=588; This = Hostmann 1271 & 890 (not 896)!! quoted by Dunal as being S. foetidum, & is so named at Kew & British Museum. But it does not at all agree with Ruiz & Pavon's descrip[tion] of that species, which is stated to have deflexed leaves & nodding flowers, & from the locality is not likely to be the same as the Peruvian plant. There is a Peruvian specimen at Kew collected by Mathews, that is named S. foetidum which seems to agree with Ruiz & Pavon's description, but it is totally unlike this 695, which I think should be described under a new name."

Georeferencing Quick Reference Guide, Version 2012. Georeferenced to the approximate geographic center of the village of Rockstone in Upper Demerara-Berbice, Guyana. Used the Google Maps - Map and Earth View to locate Rockstone. Used the Google Maps - What's Here Tool to find the coordinates of the approximate geographic center of Rockstone. Used the Google Maps - Measure Distance Tool to find the linear extent by measuring from the selected coordinates to the farthest extent of the town (spatial boundaries provided by Google Maps). Input coordinate source (locality description), coordinates, datum (WGS84), coordinate precision (0.00001 degrees), extent of named place (1070 m), and measurement error (10 m) into the MaNIS Georeferencing Calculator to find the uncertainty radius (according to the Georeferencing Quick Reference Guide, Named Place: Bounded Area).
