Description
A handsome purple-flowered plant 6-9 dm. high. Corolla smaller than in the other species collected, the petals being about 1 cm. in length. Stems and leaves densely villous and tomentose. It bears numerous blossoms in long terminal panicles. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
