    Georeferencing Quick Reference Guide, Version 2012. Georeferenced to the mouth of Rio Jauari, which is off of Rio Araçá. Using Google Maps, located Rio Jauari in Barcelos, AM. Approximated the geographic center of the confluence of the Rio Jauari and Rio Araçá (on adjacent land), then used Canadensys Lat/Long Crosshairs to find the coordinates. Used measurement tool to find linear extent of the junction of the rivers by measuring from the selected coordinates to the farthest extent of the confluence, on the shore. Input coordinates, linear extent (86.7230 m.), and measurement error (.0001 m.) into the MaNIS Georeferencing Calculator to find the uncertainty radius (according to Georeferencing Quick Reference Guide, Named Place: Mouth or headwaters of a river, confluence of waterways, trailhead).
