    Note: [Note on label: " = 1005 Fendler at KEW which is placed under Solanum hirtum Vahl (S. flavescens Dun) but it differs from the typical S. hirtum by the calyx being only tomentose, not covered with long hairs. Yet I find some Trinidad specimens which are like this as to calyx & others (typical of S. hirtum) covered with long hairs. N. E. Brown, Sept. 1920"
