    Small, widely spreading tree to 3 m high with no spines. Trunk & branches with close deep fissures. Leaves & young stems green tomentose. Calyx white green, corolla violet, stamens orange yellow. Fruit unripe - still green with deciduous greenish grey tomentum c. 6 cm diam. Phenology of specimen: Fertile, Fruit.
