Description
Gregarious. Pileus 2-10 cm broad, broadly convex to plane and then sometimes with uplifted margins, dry subtomentose, white, developing pale gray to pale brown tones with age. Margin irregular, inrolled to incurved, soon even. Flesh white, unchanging, 1 cm thick, with farinaceous odor and taste. Lamellae decurrent, close to crowded, white at first soon pinkish flesh color, with even to uneven edges. Stipe 2.5-5 cm long, 6-12 mm broad, subclavate, curved, central to rarely slightly eccentric, white, dry, fibrillose-striate, with interior solid white unchanging. Phenology of specimen: Basidiomata.
