Steep hillslope in disturbed lowland forest.

Description
Solitary palm to 3m tall. Stem ca. 4cm diam., internodes 2cm, green with some scattered scales. Crownshaft developed. Leaf to 1.5m long with 5 groups of sigmoid leaflets, the leaflets fanned within the groups, and with conspicuous drip tips. Inflorescence with numerous pendulous rachillae; pistillate flowers at anthesis and young fruit greenish. Phenology of specimen: Sterile.
