  • Description

    Solitary or clustered slender palm. Stem to 2m tall, very slender. Stem red brown scaly; crownshaft not developed. 8-9 leaves in the crown; leaves veryt coriaceous, occasionally metallic tinged. Inflorescence erect, spicate, almost with pits. Flowers white; young fruit greenish, fusiform.
