Littoral forest, flat land behind the beach, with deep humus accumulation.

Description
Solitary stem to 3m tall, ca. 2cm diam.; internodes ca. 4cm long near the base, ca. 1.5cm near the tip, green with chocolate coloured scales. Leaves ca. 8 in the crown, to 1m long, petile 35cm; leaflets ca. 11 on each side in 3 groups, with long drip tips. Inflorescence interfoliar to 60cm with ca. 15 very limp pendulous rachillae. Phenology of specimen: Sterile.
