Description
Tree, 35m x 71.1cm. Base of trunk slightly fluted for 1.5m, rest of trunk cylindric. Bark peeling in irregular plates towards base, plates smaller, less conspicuous further up trunk, outer bark 1mm thick, inner bark 20mm thick, dark reddish-brown, 2cm diam, sepals yellowish-brown, petals yellow, tinged pink especially on margins, androecial hood yellow, filaments & anthers white, stames extend all the way up the ligule. Photo of flowers. Pickled leaves, stems, and flowers. Tree #838 in quadrant 4,3. Phenology of specimen: Fertile.
