Description
Medium to large tree. Leaves elloptic-oblanceolate, finely serrulate, up to 22 or more cm. long and 6 cm. wide, clustered near ends of branches, pinnatley veined, accuminate, petioles about 12mm long. Flowers early deciduous, corolla reddish, on short pedicels in racemose, terminal clusters up to 20 or more cm. long. Fruit more or less 4-sided, up to about 8 cm. long and 5 cm. thick at base. The only speciems seen were growing in villages (9973, 10217). Native name falagi. Phenology of specimen: Sterile.
