    Herbaceous perennials from branched caudices; flowering stems hirsute with a mixture of 2-rayed and simple trichomes; petals yellow; styles ±0.7 mm long; fruiting pedicels divergent to slightly reflexed, curved upward, often sparingly pubescent; axis of infructescences distinctly zigzag; fruits ovate, to 8 mm long, glabrous or pubescent with sparingly branched hairs. Phenology of specimen: Flower, Fruit.
