cm. long, dark green. Trunk stout (to 20 cm.
diam.) not over 1 m. high; most plants without
evident trunks. Qpen pasture - mainly along
gullies - on trail from "Africa” (Sierra Perija)
to Villaneuva. Alt. about 1000 m.
