    Erect perennials from simple rootstocks; roots glabrous, not tuberous; sepals 5, deciduous; petals 7-11, yellow, to 9 mm long x 2.5 mm wide; styles to 1 mm long; achene bodies to 2.5 mm long. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
