    Plants perennial from long, slender, tan-brown rhizomes with scattered tuberous thickenings; herbage glabrous below, glandular in the inflorescence; leaves estipulate; petals white, with an apical notch to 1.5 mm deep; stamens 10, the anthers rose-brown; styles 3, to 3 mm long. Phenology of specimen: Fertile, Flower.
